In this activity, we’ll travel back to the first century, to the Roman Villa of Salar. One of our experts in the Villa will guide us throughout the tour.
We’ll start at the Roman Villa to discover its wonderful mosaics. We’ll discover the techniques used and the challenges that the archaeologists from the University of Granada have faced day after day. This Villa is one of the most important domestic buildings from ancient Hispania.
We will then move on to the Visitors' Centre, which is home to some of the artefacts found during the excavations. You'll be given a talk on its historical background which will help you better understand the site.
The main focus will be on three unique sculptures: the Venus Púdica Capitolina, the Nymph Púdica and the Nymph Venera.
