Jerez de la Frontera is the largest city in the province of Cádiz. Its fields produce wines with a Designation of Origin that are renowned worldwide.
During our visit, we will go to one of the most famous and traditional wineries, located in the heart of Jerez. We’ll explore the Marco de Jerez, its towns, and the history of its winemaking traditions. You’ll have the chance to visit the Cayetano del Pino Winery, with its 138 years of history. There, we will learn how the wines are made, their classifications, the different grape varieties from their vineyards, and the unique characteristics of their soils.
We’ll finish by viewing a very special exhibit in this winery: its original labels, dating back to the 19th century. And, of course, we will taste 2 wines paired with appetizers.
At the end of the tour, you can visit the winery’s shop if you’d like to take home any of the Cayetano del Pino wines.
