This excursion is a complete and unforgettable journey along the Costa de la Luz. First, we will stop in Tarifa, the southernmost city in Europe, where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean. We will take a walk through its medieval old town, visiting the Castle of Guzmán el Bueno (10th century), where we will enjoy incredible views of the Strait of Gibraltar and northern Africa. Here we will discover the legendary story of Guzmán el Bueno.
The second stop will be the Archaeological Complex of Baelo Claudia, one of the best-preserved examples of an ancient Roman city in the Iberian Peninsula. In a privileged setting facing the sea, we will walk through forums, streets, temples, thermal baths, and a garum factory, a delicacy made of fermented fish sauce. We will then continue to Bolonia Beach, one of the most beautiful unspoiled beaches in Spain, with crystal-clear waters perfect for swimming and famous fine sand dunes to explore.
Our final stop before returning to Cádiz will be the charming and iconic white village of Vejer de la Frontera. A walled town that will surprise you with its cobbled streets, whitewashed houses, flower-filled courtyards, and stunning viewpoints. A perfect place combining beauty, history, and tradition. Here we will have time for lunch in one of its well-known restaurants or bars, famous for local cuisine: retinto beef, tuna, and regional wines.
If you want a coastal Cádiz experience rich in history, nature, and Andalusian charm, book this excursion.
