The Compromiso de calidad turística (Tourist Quality Commitment) distinction recognises a destination’s efforts to achieve quality and continuous improvement in its services in order to enhance the tourist’s experience and satisfaction. It is promoted by the State Secretariat for Tourism.
It is a guarantee that the tourist services offered maintain a consistent level of quality, not only for a particular business or trade, but across the entire tourist destination. To achieve this, a series of quality standards are met, both common and specific to each sector.
