Description
At Balea Travel, we call ourselves “storytellers of experiences” and, in this case, the tales told by our guides will take you through the key spots of the Alhambra palace.
In order to do so, you will learn about life in the Alcazaba fortress, the Generalife gardens and the Nasrid Palaces.
In this visit, we will fill our tour with smells, tastes and sounds, so that you can relate to how life was for the people who lived in the Alhambra in the past. The Alhambra, although considered to be the only medieval.
Muslim palace in Europe, it is actually a palatine city, where the artistic expression of those living in it can still be admired in the beauty of their culture, both through the inner spaces of the palace (tiles and plasterwork) and its exteriors (gardens).

- Comfortable footwear, water and hat in hot season. - Accesibility: medium. People with certain difficulties for movement should indicate it in the reservation to facilitate access.

When making the reservation you must indicate the full name of each participant as it appears in the Passport or ID that you have provided, otherwise access to the Alhambra cannot be guaranteed

Requests for cancellation or modification must be made by sending a message from the booking page on MiReservaOnline.es so that there is a written record of the date and time of the request.
Cancellation or modification of the booking, once confirmed, will incur a charge:
You will receive a 50% refund if you cancel or modify 10 days before the start of the visit.
No refund will be given if you cancel or change your booking less than 10 days before the start of the visit, or if you do not show up.

Marabella had a lovely voice and an enormous group to coral. She did an excellent job. I really don't know how she did it. She was calm and patient, knowledgable and competent while trying manage 30 people. I liked her voice and her manner. It was not lost on me that Marabella chose an excellent course through the Alhambra so we could see it all. The gardens were empty when we walked through. The bell tower was busy but we beat the ridiculous line to the viewpoint.(It was the free day to ring the bell.) We got to the line promptly at 1:00pm. And two people who were late were able to catch up with us at the church and not miss that Alhambra palace itself. Bravo. The best thing was the content. Most of these tours and we have done our fair share the guide has done it so many times they are bored. It's like putting a coin in a machine and hearing the recorded message. I'm sure Marabella has done this tour hundreds of times but I couldn't tell. She treated us like she was seeing it for the first time. She keep us all together, kept up the banter so we could find her, and stayed on script. The best part was her ease with answering questions. She was obviously very knowledgeable about the Alhambra and enthusiastic to share what she knew. Some guides are not as good off script. The one thing that is missing from all of these tours is visual aids. Pictures of what it might have looked like back in the day, wooden puzzle on how they put the roof together, something tangible that we can touch and hold or see to understand. How did they do the inlay? How did they do it? Don't just tell me they were good at math. Show me. It would make it more memorable. Julia

Edu was very friendly! The stories and explanation is interesting and in detail. He could answer all tourists’ questions, even young kids’. We thank him for his kind and appropriate service.
It probably would be better if you indicate the ticket office’s address more specifically, such as providing Google MAP link or ticket office’s OFFICIAL name in Spanish. Since there are several entrances of Alhambra, and the ticket office is named in Spanish, we were a little bit in doubt in heading to the meeting point. The picture of meeting point was great though.
